When I was a senior in college, I read Ogilvy On Advertising and found my calling.

David Ogilvy thought all copywriters should start their career with two years in Direct. I learned the reason why during my first job at Wunderman, working mostly on Amex. The responses to the many mail pieces I created were clearly measurable, so you could see what worked.

But I longed to do 30-second TV commercials. And got the chance at Ayer (now Publicis Kaplan Thaler). It’s where, in three years, I climbed to head writer on the Continental Airlines account, just as the carrier was going from worst to first.

I then decided to go transcontinental, with a move to Mother London. I helped them win The Observer News Weekly. And produced a hit radio campaign, featuring my American accent,
for britart.com.

What started as a freelance assignment on the Six Flags pitch, led to a destiny-fulfilling job at OgilvyOne. And later, upon recommendation of the Six Flags client, to a 3-year term at Zimmerman Advertising in Ft. Lauderdale.

It's where I learned the art of retail advertising. Helped hhgregg, Crocs and Friendly's exceed comp sales. Co-managed the Miami Dolphins account for the 2007 season. And helped bring in much new business.

Since moving back to NYC in early 2010, I was an ACD on Purina at AFG. A CD on Mt. Airy Casino Resort at The Halo Group. ACD-d at Publicis integrated PR firm MSL GROUP. Wrote TV scripts for Dannon at HogarthNY/Y&R. Became an expert on MS while freelancing in pharma. Ushered Station Domination campaigns for Verizon. And most recently created digital and social for Iams, Royal Canin and Advil at Tribal/DDB.

After 17 years, my calling is still calling. So, I humbly answer with talent, passion, experience and a perpetually positive spirit. One that will continue to propel business for agencies and their clients.
